“Dee Ann Estates” is a homeowners association located about 4 miles south of the small community of Lake Placid, Florida, along the shoreline of Grassy Lake (over 500 acres). The property is situated on two “prongs” of a promontory at the dead-end of a short road from Highway 27, consisting of a total of eight two-story white stucco buildings, all waterfront, in addition to a “community clubhouse building” adjacent to our heated outdoor pool.

The HOA is a “gated” community overnight, while usually the gates remain open all day for the convenience of all concerned. Other than our own residents and our own service providers (UPS, FedEx, furniture, appliance & repair companies), there is no traffic since we are at the end of the road from the highway.

Built in the early 1990’s, there are 70 units in total, most of which are 2BR 2BA units, with a few 1BR 1BA and a few 3BR 2BA units. Grassy Lake is a private lake of over 500 acres. The Association’s lake frontage is bounded by a seawall which serves to keep “critters” in the water – nearly always.

The Association is member-managed since inception, currently by a five-person Board of Directors that oversees the Association’s property, maintains our financial health, and strives to be responsive to member needs and concerns. This web site is an example, offered to our members to enhance communication with all members See the “About Us” tab for more detail and links to the governing documents.
